Similar to its predecessor , L-ISA Processor II is a hardware solution that provides advanced object-based mixing for demanding immersive audio productions . While both units offer control of spatial audio processing and virtual acoustics for up to 96 audio objects based on speaker positioning information and mixing parameters – including pan , width , distance , elevation , and aux send – the L-ISA Processor II doubles the original unit ’ s potential output count of 64 up to 128 outputs for greater power and versatility on larger , more complex events .
Seeing that most productions are unlikely to utilize 100-plus outputs , L-Acoustics is offering L-ISA Processor II in a choice of four output counts – 16 , 32 , 64 , or 128 – from the same device , with various capacities accessible via different lifetime licences at tiered pricing levels .

Meyer Sound Spacemap Go Plug-in
Meyer Sound has introduced the Spacemap Go plug-in for Avid ’ s Venue 7 console software platform and Pro Tools . The free AAX plug-in enables users of Avid Venue S6L systems to directly access functions of the Spacemap Go spatial sound design and live mixing tool from the console ’ s built-in touchscreen and control surface .
In addition , the new plug-in allows integration of Spacemap Go snapshots into the Venue master show file to create virtual loudspeaker layouts and automate dynamic panning within the immersive sound field . Also , the parallel introduction of a plug-in for Pro Tools allows creation of audio projects incorporating Spacemap Go functions .
When installed in Venue 7 , the Spacemap Go plug-in functions as a client of the Spacemap server . When the console and the server ( in the Galaxy Network Platform ) are connected on the same network , setup is automatic . No IP addressing or port management is required . Functions accessible on the S6L control surface ( touchscreen and CKM module knobs ) include X / Y position , crossfade , spread , trajectory status ( play / pause / stop ), and trajectory rate for each channel . Also accessible are snapshot recall at the Channel , Mix , and System levels as well as Mix Level for the global system .
