has announced the addition of Kris O’Reilly to
its combo team as product marketing manag-
er for live sound and music production.
O’Reilly comes to Yamaha with years
of MI experience, having worked for Long
& McQuade as its key buyer for audio and
recording products since 2008, but started
working in their Scarborough, ON store in
2004. O’Reilly also worked at MusicStop in
St. John’s, NL after earning his Bachelor of
Arts degree in music from Memorial Univer-
sity. After relocating to Ontario, he complet-
ed an Honours Diploma in audio engineer-
ing from OIART in London in 2002.

Yorkville Sound Appoints New District Sales Manager for Ontario
Yorkville Sound has appointed Shawn Crockard as its Ontario district
sales manager.
Reporting to VP of Sales and Marketing Jeff Cowling, Crockard’s territory
will include southwestern and northern Ontario. He will be responsible
for existing account relationship management, prospecting, and business
development for Yorkville Sound’s catalog of products. Rounding out the
Ontario sales team are Chris Gauthier and Alex Donmoyer.
“Shawn has more than 20 years of experience in the pro audio and MI
industry here in Canada,” says Cowling. “His considerable knowledge of the
SHAWN CROCKARD industry, experience in supporting customers, and extensive background in
music and sound will make him a valuable asset to the team. This move also allows Chris and Alex
to spend more time with current and prospective dealers in their modified territories.”

DPA’S NIKOLAJ FORSBERG
DPA Names Nikolaj
Forsberg as EVP of Sales
DPA Microphones has announced the
appointment of Nikolaj Forsberg to the
post of executive VP of sales. Forsberg is
based at DPA’s headquarters in Denmark,
where he will be responsible for oversee-
ing global sales activity and helping to
develop new prospects for DPA’s product
portfolio.

distributors in Canada and already offer
qualified local service support to our
Canadian customers,” Forsberg tells Pro-
