PreSonus DM-7 Drum Microphone Kit
PreSonus has released the DM-7 seven-microphone drum kit , which offers everything needed to capture an acoustic drum set .
The BD-1 kick drum mic provides a tailored frequency response to capture both the boom and attack of a kick drum for tight , robust sound . The BD-1 is equally useful on bass amps and other low-frequency sources . The four ST-4 microphones are ideal for toms and snare drums . To capture cymbals , the two OH-2 small-diaphragm condensers add space and movement to the drums . Besides drum overheads and hi-hats , the two OH-2s work well with piano , acoustic guitar , other stringed instruments , and ensemble miking . The four ST-4 cardioid mics include adjustable rim-mounts and are also suited for guitar amps . The DM-7 kit includes the necessary mounts and a hardshell carrying case .
