Shure TwinPlex Microphones
Shure has released the TwinPlex microphones, which are designed
for the rigors of the theatre while also providing reliable clarity for
TV and film, tailored-for-speech audio for speaking appearances,
and discreet durability for broadcast usage.
The TwinPlex microphones supply natural audio at high or
low frequencies as the dual-diaphragm captures the full weight
of the speaker’s voice. TwinPlex’s microphone capsule design also
maximizes effective surface area in an easy-to-conceal package. The
microphones are also designed to eliminate “sweat-outs” thanks to
the superhydrophobic coating. In addition, the medical-grade cable
technology flexes to fit the costume design.
The TwinPlex series includes the TL45, TL46, TL47, and TL48 subminiature
lavalier microphones, as well as the TH53 subminiature headset microphone.
