Rode TF-5 Small-Diaphragm Condenser

Rode Microphones has introduced the TF-5 matched pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones. It was designed in collaboration with
Grammy-winning sound engineer Tony Faulkner.
The TF-5 is designed to offer improved airiness and clarity, with a warmth that makes it versatile for recording detailed and natural-sounding
performances when used as a stereo pair, or for capturing a soloist when used as a spot mic.
The TF-5 features a low noise floor (14dbA), making it suitable for critical recordings, and includes a Rode stereo bar for rigging as a stereo pair.

EAW RS Series Loudspeakers & Subwoofers
Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) has launched the RS Series of two-way, self-powered
loudspeakers and subwoofers.
RS Series loudspeakers, including the RM 121/123 and the RS 151/153, feature a por-
table, lightweight wooden enclosure housing bi-amplified electronics and designed
around the company’s latest generation of touring-grade transducers. A rotatable,
constant-directivity HF horn, inspired by the company’s MK series, offers precise pattern
control. The RS Series’ DSP provides intelligent focusing for clarity and accuracy and DynO
dynamic optimization.
The companion RS115 and RS118HP self-powered subwoofers offer 1,500 and 2,500
W of Class D power, respectively, and feature carefully tuned, vented enclosures. EAW’s
DynO algorithms optimize the power transfer from amplifiers to transducers for improved
headroom and sound integrity at maximum output.

64 Audio N8 Customizable
In-Ear Monitor
64 Audio has released the N8 customizable in-ear monitor. The N8 (pro-
nounced “Nate”) is the result of a collaboration with Grammy-nominated
bassist Nathan East. It’s designed for musicians who are looking for a sonic
signature that delivers clarity across all frequencies with enough headroom
available in the lower end of the audible spectrum.
64 Audio opted for a hybrid design utilizing a 9-mm dynamic driver for the lows
and eight balanced armature drivers for the midrange and highs. The N8 also features 64 Audio’s Tia, Apex, and LID technologies.
Like all of 64 Audio’s custom IEMs, the N8 monitors are customizable and hand-built from each uniquely-shaped ear impression. They are
inherently noise-isolating and designed to work with a wide range of personal audio devices as well as all hard-wired and wireless monitor
systems. N8 accessories include a 64 Audio personalized protective case, dehumidifier, cleaning tool, shirt clip, 48- or 64-in. detachable profes-
sional cable, and m15 or m20 apex modules.
