Sennheiser has introduced the TeamConnect
Ceiling 2 array microphone with automatic
adaptive beamforming technology.
The adaptive beamforming technology auto-
matically focuses on the voice of a speaker in the
room, regardless of their position. By automatically
following the active speaker’s voice, it lets people
speak naturally, whether they are sitting, standing,
or moving around the room.
The TeamConnect Ceiling 2 offers improved versatility and interoperability with support
for Dante networks and PoE. It’s compatible with Sennheiser’s Control Cockpit software
for efficient remote management, and offers remote configuration and monitoring via
an open media control protocol (API), allowing for easy integration into media systems
and camera control applications. Ideal for mid- to large-sized meeting rooms, the Team-
Connect Ceiling 2 can be installed nearly invisibly into the ceiling to allow for flexible
usage of a space.

Alcons VR5 Mini
Loudspeaker
Alcons Audio has released the versa-
tile VR5 two-way mini loudspeaker,
specifically designed for near-field
applications where fidelity response
needs to be projected with wide hori-
zontal and vertical coverage. The VR5
monitor is suitable for both portable
and permanent applications.
The VR5 consists of the RBN202
pro-ribbon driver for HF and a 5-in.
mid-bass driver for low-distortion LF
reproduction. The VR5 HF section has
a 400-W peak power input, enabling
a 1:16 dynamic range with up to 90
per cent less distortion from 1 kHz to
beyond 20 kHz.
The patented (90-degree) horizon-
tal and patent-pending (60-degree)
vertical dispersion of the revolv-
able waveguide offers a wide and
consistent coverage up to the highest
frequencies.
