DANLEY J6-42 JERICHO HORN Danley Sound Labs has added to the stadium-grade Jericho Horn family with the J6-42. The J6-42 Jericho Horn uses Danley’s new Paraline High Density (PHD) technology to deliver 6-8dB more output and lower lows than the J3-64. Its narrow, well-defined 40 x 20-degree beamwidth and small footprint make the J6-42 an ideal solution for end-fired scoreboard hangs or any situation where long throws and high output are needed. The J6-42 combines eight 1.4-in. drivers, eight 6-in. drivers, and eight 10-in. drivers into one phase-coherent, point-source output. The J6-42 is tri-amplified and uses Danley’s Synergy crossover design. The three bands combine to produce a flat and phase coherent frequency response between 50 Hz and 7 kHz (+/- 3dB). The drivers are designed for longevity, with Sentinel Limiter circuitry to protect them from damage. Drawmer CMC2 Compact Monitor Controller Drawmer has released the CMC2 Compact Monitor Controller, which is designed for project and home studios. The CMC2 offers some features of Drawmer’s MC2.1 and MC3.1 monitor control- lers, including superlative fidelity, balanced stereo inputs, a 3.5 mm unbalanced stereo aux input (with independent volume control), mix check facilities (phase reverse, summed mono, and dim), and support for two sets of stereo monitors, a subwoofer, and volume-independent headphones. It leaves off the MC2.1 and MC3.1’s additional features, making it more cost-effective and well-suited to smaller studios. Fulcrum Acoustic CCX12 Loudspeaker Fulcrum Acoustic has introduced the CCX12 12-in. subcardioid coaxial loudspeaker. The CCX12 features Fulcrum’s Passive Cardioid Technology (PCT), which enables the speaker to achieve a high degree of LF/HF control for a product of its size. The CCX12 marks this technology’s first application in Fulcrum’s TQ Install line of installation-focused speak- ers. Combining the benefits of PCT and Temporal Equalization (TQ), the single-amplified CCX12 is designed to deliver improved LF directional control, improved intelligibility, enhanced sonic accuracy, and the output capability and pattern control of normal two- way systems in a lighter and more compact enclosure than those with offset drivers.
