NAMM Show Making Its Long-Awaited Return in June
After two years away because of the pandemic , The NAMM Show is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California from June 3-5 , 2022 , where it will bring together manufacturers , dealers , and professionals from across the music , audio , and live events products industries .
On March 23 , the initial NAMM Show Map was released , giving exhibitors and attendees an idea of who ’ s coming to the show , where brands will be placed , and some of the new features of the NAMM Campus . NAMM says it will be welcoming over 3,500 participating brands to the show . It will also deliver more than 200 professional education sessions in topics across music retail , pro audio , live sound , entertainment technology , technical training , and improving non-profit practices .
At the show , a variety of education sessions will be offered by partnering organizations across the industries . Pro audio professionals will be able to access sessions presented by AES , A3E , TEC Tracks , and Pensado ’ s Place . Live event and entertainment technology professionals will have a variety of offerings to choose from , including sessions curated by ESTA , Pro Production Sessions , and the Event Safety Alliance .
On Saturday , June 4 , the pro audio community will reunite once again to celebrate and honour the innovative products , individuals , and companies involved in sound recordings , films , broadcast television , and video games at the TEC Awards . The winners of the 21 Technical Achievement , six Creative Achievement , and one Studio categories will be announced at the celebration , along with the winner of the Les Paul Innovation Award . NWC , publisher of Professional Sound magazine , will again host the NAMM Canadian Reception , where the show ’ s Canadian attendees come together for an enjoyable evening of networking , connecting with old
friends , and unwinding after an eventful day on the show floor . This year ’ s reception will mark the 13 th anniversary of the gathering .
For those unable to travel to Anaheim , for the first time the show is also offering an online component , called NAMM Show +. It ’ s a digital platform serving as a window into The NAMM Show . The platform , powered by Swapcard , will give both in-person and virtual digital access to select professional development sessions , award shows , events , and networking opportunities .
Zero-Ohm Systems Names AVL Media Group as North American Distributor
Zero-Ohm Systems has named AVL Media Group as its exclusive distributor for North America . AVL will distribute the company ’ s Disrupter Series and Renegade Series of products , which are designed to allow multiple loudspeakers to be connected in parallel without the need for external 70-volt transformers .
