Peavey Aureus 28 Digital Mixer
Peavey has released the Aureus 28 digital mixer . With a 10-in . multi-touch display , it allows users to access almost any control with a couple of taps , and its 59 dedicated controls allow access to most critical functions with one touch .
With presets for channels , EQ , gate , compressor , scenes , and shows , the mix can be up and running in minutes . The mixer also provides the ability to save and store the user ’ s own presets , scenes , and even an entire mix onto a USB drive . The user can place a tablet in the onboard dock and use it as a second screen , or use any HTML5-compatible browsers for remote control . This second screen is ideal for monitoring the entire mix while adjusting a specific channel or separate group on the mixer .
The Aureus digital mixer contains 28 inputs and 14 outputs , 14 dedicated encoders , nine motorized faders , and 45 dedicated backlit buttons . Thanks to 16 XLR-1 / 4-in ., RCA , Bluetooth , and USB inputs , the mixer can connect to nearly any audio source .

Radial Engineering has introduced two professional guitar / amp signal managing switching stations . The JX44 V2 is a single-rack space four-instrument , fouramp and EFX signal manager . The JX42 V2 is a single-rack space four-instrument , two-amp switching station .
Both units are designed to handle the rigors of concert touring , providing instant and simple signal changeovers in a guitar , bass , or keyboard rig without signal colouration or additional noise or popping when switching instruments . In addition to the instrument switching and routing capabilities found in the JX42 V2 , the JX44 V2 also functions as a complete guitar , amp , and EFX signal manager , easily handling complex effects routing requirements , providing connections for a local stereo EFX loop , and the ability to assign and remotely control individual EFX channels to any amplifier for wet / dry / wet setups .
Class A signal buffers on the inputs — accessible on either the front or back panel — help preserve an instrument ’ s pure tonal qualities . Both units enable simultaneous connection and activation of up to four instruments or wireless receivers , with all inactive inputs automatically feeding a buffered Tuner output .

Barix IP Former Analog-to-IP Speaker Upgrade Solution
Barix is now shipping its cost-efficient IP Former for transforming analog loudspeakers into networked IP speakers . Enabling easy upgrades of existing audio deployments to support advanced IP functionality , the module lets systems integrators and installers offer customers a digital audio environment without jettisoning their current speakers .
Replacing the 70 / 100 V transformer traditionally used with analog loudspeakers , IP Former adds IP networking capabilities to new or existing speakers . It provides an IP network interface , audio stream decoder , and amplifier front-end for a two- to eight-ohm speaker , with power supplied over PoE for streamlined cabling and installation . Current analog speaker installations can be retrofitted by simply switching their transformers with IP Former units , maximizing the lifecycle of customers ’ existing investments .
