Sennheiser has announced plans to focus on its Professional division in the future and aims to secure a partnership to strengthen the market position of its Consumer Electronics division . With this decision , the company aims to continue on its course to build greater independence for its business units .
Sennheiser ’ s Professional and Consumer divisions consist of four business units in total : Pro Audio , Business Communications , Neumann , and Consumer Electronics . All of these areas have great potential for growth , says Andreas Sennheiser , co-CEO of Sennheiser . The company said in mid-February that talks with potential partners would start shortly .
The company has outlined its goals as : strengthen the market position and increase visibility in the Consumer business , focus on development of Professional business , and reposition for a successful future .
