Hal Leonard Mastering With Ozone 8
Hal Leonard Books and NextPoint Training have partnered to develop new music production cur-
ricula and learning materials. The second release in this series is Frank D. Cook and Sean McLaughlin’s
Mastering with Ozone 8, which explores the process of mastering finished songs using iZotope’s Ozone
software package.
Designed to support instructor-led training and facilitate independent learning, this course book
covers all aspects of working with Ozone 8 Advanced and will serve as iZotope’s official curriculum.
Mastering with Ozone 8 focuses on the program’s strength from a musical deployment perspective,
teaching the basics of production through the program rather than delving into software-specific
minutiae.
Users will learn to use Ozone as a standalone application or as a plug-in on the master bus of their
preferred DAW. The book covers all of the controls available in the Project window and in the Ozone
plug-in. It also features hands-on exercises to help readers develop their skills by applying the techniques
discussed in each chapter.

IsoAcoustics ISO Series Acoustic
Isolation Stands
IsoAcoustics has launched the ISO Series of acoustic isolation stands. The new
models – which include the ISO-130, ISO-155, ISO-200, and ISO-200SUB – feature a new contemporary design, a lower profile, and new isolators.
The ISO Series stands build upon IsoAcoustics’ L8R Series stands. Like their predecessors, the new stands for studio monitors are adjustable,
providing 14 variations of height and tilt so that the user can optimize speaker placement. The ISO-130 is designed for small- to medium-sized
speakers and studio monitors up to 20 lbs. The ISO-155 stand is for medium- to larger-sized speakers and studio monitors up to 40 lbs. For larger
speakers and studio monitors, the ISO-200 supports up to 60 lbs. The ISO-200sub provides improved isolation for more accurate sound and can
support subwoofers up to 75 lbs.

Klark Teknik DN9630 AES50-to-USB 2.0
Converter
Klark Teknik has released the DN9630 AES50-to-USB 2.0 Converter with up to 48 bidirec-
tional channels.
The DN9630 simplifies the connection of computers to AES50 audio networks to provide
simultaneous multi-channel computer audio recording and playback, making it ideal for use with
MIDAS digital consoles and other AES50-equipped products. The single USB 2.0 interface connects
directly to a Windows PC or Apple Mac computer and offers up to 48 bidirectional channels at 48 kHz and 24 bidirectional channels at 96
kHz sample rates.
The SuperMAC (AES50-compliant) digital audio networking technology is designed to simultaneously provide high channel counts, ultra-
low and deterministic latencies, sample synchronous and phase-aligned networked clock distribution, and error detection and correction
along with network redundancy.
