Know When to Time Your Harvest This fi nal secret is the one that will either make or break your harvest. The pungent scent of a cannabis crop be- comes stronger once the plant enters its fl owering stage. This aroma is but a small taste of the rewards that await you after months of hard work. Most people would be Calcium Rich Mineral Composite tempted to begin harvesting their plants as soon as the aroma intensifi es. You shouldn’t be in a rush to do this because if you’re patient enough to grow cannabis, then you should be patient enough to wait for the right time to harvest it. Harvesting the fl owers too soon will result in low yields. The trick to timing the harvest right is to wait for a tad bit longer. To be more precise, there is usually a 2 to the 3-week window for harvesting. If you can wait for a week or two longer you can potentially increase the yield by up to 25%. We know some of you might not have the patience to wait that long before you can harvest your plants, but if you really want to maximize your yields it will be worth the time and effort. You can normally tell that the plants are ready for harvest by looking at the color of the pis- tils. They will change from bright white to either brown or a rust-tinted orange. This change in color signifi es that the cannabis is already at the end of its cycle and is ready to be harvested.
