While the leveling of the surface is being completed this is also an excellent time to clear out any rocks, grass/ weeds, and any other avoidable obstacles from the gar- den area. Clearing of grass and plants is important be- cause it can be an invitation to bugs and other critters. Doing so will also help lessen the possibility of them growing into and around the containers.
