Exhibitor Registration Open for Expo-Scène 2023
The early bird discount deadline for exhibitors at CITT / ICTS ’ 2023 Expo-Scène trade show and conference is Dec . 31 , 2022 . As before , next year ’ s event will be held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on April 13 and 14 , 2023 . The event , which comprises a gear expo , educational programming , and networking opportunities , is Canada ’ s largest event dedicated to professionals in the pro audio , lighting , audiovisual , video , and multimedia technology markets .
Expo-Scène typically attracts more than 50 exhibitors and around 1,700 visitors from across Canada and the U . S . There will also be exclusive demos from audio , video , and lighting companies .
For out-of-town visitors , Expo-Scène is offering special rates at the nearby hotels . Last year , Expo-Scène has partnered with Air Canada and Via Rail to offer 10 % discounts on tickets to and from Montreal in the days around and during the show . Michael Nishball Named Full Member of ASTC
The American Society of Theatre Consultants ( ASTC ) has welcomed Michael Nishball as its newest full member . Membership into the ASTC , follows a highly selective process that considers a candidate ’ s range of capability and experience , their past industry achievements , and the quality of service
MICHAEL NISHBALL they provide to clients . Nishball is Theatre Projects ’ principal theatre equipment designer and one of the industry ’ s leading voices on structural systems , rigging equipment , and specialty stage machinery . He makes the eighth Theatre Projects employee currently on the ASTC membership roster and brings over 40 years of experience to the elite organisation .
Theatre Projects has been Michael ’ s professional home since 1995 . Prior to Theatre Projects , he worked with Pook Diemont & Ohl , Inc . as a rigging contractor , and earlier on , he was a stagehand , production designer , and rigger with a variety of theatre companies . He supervised lighting and rigging for the Wooster Group all over the world and worked with the Boston Shakespeare Company , the American Repertory Theater , and several modern dance companies in Boston .
