Vectorworks 2022 Design Suite Software
Vectorworks has released the 2022 edition of its eponymous software , which emphasizes product quality improvements , better performance , and a smoother user experience . Vectorworks Design Suite , formerly Vectorworks Designer , offers all the up-to-date features of Vectorworks Fundamentals , Architect , Landmark , and Spotlight , providing the entire suite of technology in one interface .
The Vectorworks 2022 product line includes improvements focused on next-gen tech , 3D and BIM workflows , interoperability , landscapes and GIS , and entertainment design workflows . With Vectorworks 2022 , the main areas of development in core technologies and interfaces make Vectorworks products faster and more intuitive , while also providing the stability and accuracy required for maximum efficiency . Vectorworks is the first major BIM application to run natively on Apple silicon processors . Testing of Vectorworks 2022 has shown speed increases of two to four times , according to the company .
Additional improvements in this area include full use of Metal on Mac and DirectX on Windows in the Vectorworks Graphics Module , Maxon ’ s Redshift Render Mode , and a new Direct Link to Twinmotion . Plus , a redesign of the attribute and snapping palettes and new per-face texture mapping support an intuitive process for creating and visualizing designs .
Key Digital has released the KD-MLV4x2Pro , which is an HDMI / VGA / HDBaseT seamless presentation matrix switcher and multi-view tiling processor that includes a KD-X222PORx HDBase T extender / receiver with power-over-HDBaseT .
KD-MLV4x2Pro users can create and store custom multi-view layouts and recall custom presets for linked / mirrored outputs in the switcher / processor ’ s 1080p ( 2K ) Multi-View Mode or utilize the native Quadrant Mode ( 4K or 2K ) with independent switching and output of four equally-sized windows . The seamless switching allows uninterrupted transitions during source selection . Image layering allows stacked images with customizable priority settings . Window transparency and border control are built in .
Two inputs of the multi-format switcher are dedicated to HDMI with the remaining two inputs selectable between HDMI and analog VGA , all with external audio capability and internal digital conversion of analog sources . The KD-MLV4x2Pro supports SD , HD , and VESA input resolutions up to 1080p / 1920x1200 on HDMI and analog video inputs . HDMI and HDBaseT outputs are 1080p , or are independently unscalable to Ultra HD 4096x2160 30Hz [ 4:4:4 ] 8bit in 4K Quadrant Mode . The switcher is licensed and compatible with HDCP 2.2 and includes a buffer system to manage TMDS re-clocking / signal re-generation , HDCP authentication to source and display , and EDID Control handshake . An internal library stores five default EDID configurations for input in addition to native EDID data for any Output / Display .

Ultratec Special Effects has added the Radiance Stadium System and the Radiance Arena System to its range of hazer systems .
The Radiance Stadium System is a touring system engineered for use at grand-scale live events , including touring music festivals and stadium concert tours . It is comprised of two Radiance Hazers and a Turbo Fan configured in a durable wheeled road case . Both Radiance Hazers can operate concurrently while the Turbo Fan pushes their haze up to 2,500-cu . -ft . per minute .
The Radiance Arena System is a touring system developed for live events in large arenas . It includes the Radiance Hazer and a TwisterX Fan and is also packaged in a durable wheeled road case . Launched in May 2021 , the TwisterX Fan pushes haze up to 1,500-cu . -ft . per minute . It also includes built-in DMX with RDM capability and heavy-duty angle adjustment .
