PY1 is a new touring venue from Lune Rouge Entertainment , which was first erected in the Old Port of Montreal . It offered fully-immersive , collective experiences to its visitors with the premiere of its first custom-produced show , Through the Echoes . Imagined by Guy Laliberté and created by Gabriel Coutu-Dumont , Through the Echoes is a multimedia show that leverages all of PY1 ’ s technology . The space includes a 744,000-lumen , 81-ft . high projection surface , and 32 laser projectors . Solotech provided the lighting and video and SE Fabrication was enlisted to design and engineer the structure in Montreal , as well as fabricate and supervise the installation on site .
