Solotech Appoints Denis Dumouchel as President , Sales & Systems Integration in Canada
Solotech has announced the implementation of a new management structure to optimize its Canadian operations .
Over the past year , the Sales and Systems Integration Division has been core to the company ’ s business and generated significant growth , despite the pandemic , according to the company . “ This year , we reaffirmed our leadership position in sales and systems integration in Canada with the acquisition of CBCI , a leader in audiovisual and videoconferencing solutions ,” says Philip Giffard , global president of the Sales and Systems Integration Division .
The merger of CBCI and Solotech requires a new structure to effectively support Solotech ’ s continued growth across all its locations . For this , the company has appointed Denis Dumouchel as president of sales and systems integration in Canada . Dumouchel will oversee all operations and teams in Solotech ’ s Canadian offices . “ It ’ s a pleasure to continue actively contributing to the development of Solotech and drive its diversified service offering across Canada ,” he says . Denis was until recently president of CBCI . He held many key roles at CBCI since 1994 before becoming president and CEO in 2011 . He has substantial expertise in videoconferencing and collaboration solutions .
SOLOTECH ’ S DENIS DUMOUCHEL
As part of this new structure , Giffard also announced the appointment of Alexandre Pecqueux as vice president of innovation and operational excellence . Drawing on his 15-plus years of experience at Solotech , Pecqueux will determine the overall direction , oversee all programs and projects , and roll out the division ’ s strategic plans .
Finally , Caroline Martel is appointed vice president of service , operations , and transformation . Following on her four years as Solotech ’ s director of customer service and then director of operations , Martel will be responsible for planning and managing all aspects of customer service policies , objectives , and initiatives for the entire division .
Brian Dowd Joins Ayrton as Designer Relationship Manager for North America
As Ayrton continues to expand its international designer relations and sales teams , the company has hired Brian Dowd as its new designer relationship manager for North America . The new role took effect on Oct . 1 , 2021 .
Dowd brings to Ayrton nearly 45 years of experience across almost every aspect of the lighting industry , from production and rental , to distribution , sales , and leadership roles in a variety of companies . His new role will see him work with lighting designers , specifiers , and key production contacts to “ excite and develop the market for Ayrton , supporting the work of Ayrton ’ s North American distributor , ACT Entertainment ,” according to the manufacturer .
“ I am thrilled by the opportunity to join the Ayrton team ,” adds Dowd . “ The years I have spent nurturing relationships will be well served , and developing new ones will be exciting . I have known many of the Ayrton team for a long time so it will feel like home right away .”

Neutrik USA Expands & Becomes Neutrik Americas
Neutrik USA has announced an expansion in its operations , and with that expansion comes a new name — Neutrik Americas . Neutrik Americas , a wholly owned subsidiary of Neutrik AG and a member of the Neutrik Group , will now service all the Americas from its Charlotte , NC facility . The goal of this organizational shift is to provide centralized operation for the Americas , with the benefit of consolidated sales and support for the entire region .
One of the key benefits of this company reorganization is greater responsiveness for customers , the company says . It says this includes more effective sales and support services – without such a great variance in time zones – making it easier to contact the company , regardless of one ’ s physical location . As part of this expansion , Neutrik Americas now offers multilingual sales and support services in English , Spanish , Portuguese , and French from its Charlotte headquarters .
