The Canadian College of Performing Arts ( CCPA ) in Victoria , BC found a permanent rigging solution for its stage lighting after turning to Paul Croy , managing director of Croy & Co . Stage Lighting Ltd . ( Croy & Co .). CCPA rents their teaching space within a church gymnasium and auditorium and has never had good rigging points in the facility . The CCPA purchased Prolyte ’ s H40 truss system for the project . There are three lighting positions on the truss . Side lighting positions are provided by three 25-ft . sections secured with chain falls . Some of the lighting used on the truss is Chroma-Q ’ s Color Force , which the college owns , along with other moving lighting fixtures that it rents or owns .
Little Canada , a new attraction in Toronto , takes visitors with a trip across the country , including landmarks , sights and sounds , all under one roof . Carbon Arc Projects , which specializes in the curation of virtual and in-person experiences , selected Christie GS Series 1DLP and Captiva projectors to illuminate landmarks throughout the attraction . Little Canada covers 45,000 sq . ft . of indoor space across two floors and recreates popular locations and landmarks at 1:87 scale – the same size as model railways – with five destinations including Little Niagara , Little Toronto , Little Ottawa , and Petit Quebec .
