Prolights Astra Beam260IP Moving Light
Prolights has launched its new flagship Astra Beam260IP , a compact and lightweight IP-rated moving beam light that is designed to be sharper , brighter , and more resistant to the elements .
The Astra Beam260IP includes a new lamp made by OSRAM . The Sirius HRI 260W Pro lamp has a lifespan of 6,000 hours that , combined with a completely sealed enclosure , brings a near-zero maintenance cycle , reducing operating costs like cleaning and re-lamping . The Astra Beam260IP produces a parallel two-degree , high-contrast , pure beam of light with an output of half a million lux at 10 m .
The fixture has a rugged and completely-sealed chassis made of aluminum alloy , with internal components treated with an IP coating , guaranteeing real IP65 water and dust-tight design for outdoor applications . Since it ’ s completely sealed , the fixture doesn ’ t require regular internal cleaning or service . However , users have access to the modular and easily accessible internal parts and whereupon assembled , its sealing can be checked with the Prolights IP Test Box .
The fixture offers a wide choice of control options , including DMX and RDM in / through , Wireless DMX and RDM , and Ethernet protocols such as Art-Net and sACN in / through .

ETC Source Four LED Series 3
ETC has released a new theatrical fixture , the Source Four LED Series 3 , which is the third generation of the colour mixing LED fixture .
Now boasting an eight-colour mixing system that includes deep red LEDs , the fixture is capable of creating highly-nuanced colours utilizing the Lustr X8 array , rendering skin tones and sunsets with new depth , according to the company . The tunable white Daylight HDR array allows a wider range of warm and cool whites , all without sacrificing brightness .
ETC has also added wireless DMX / RDM by integrating City Theatrical ’ s Multiverse protocol , with easy NFC configuration using a mobile device with the ETC Set Light app . Used in conjunction with a lighting console , City Theatrical ’ s Multiverse integration allows broadcasting of up to 10 universes of DMX from a single transmitter without excessive radio energy .
These fixtures are bolstered by the inclusion of new XDLT lens tubes , providing higher output , clarity , and contrast than standard lens tubes .
