PR Lighting Tango Spot ETC Prodigy FlyPipe Self-Climbing Hoist ETC has released the Prodigy FlyPipe, a self-climbing hoist designed to help make under-utilized spaces into creative environments. Structural engineering limitations for black box theatres, school cafeterias, gymnasiums, and churches have prevented the use of rigging technology in the past. Because of its light weight and easy installation, the Prodigy FlyPipe can be used for front-of-house and overhead hang- ing positions of lighting fixtures, AV equipment, and soft goods. The Prodigy FlyPipe is available in lengths of 18, 28, and 38 ft. The safety features enable even young stagehands to be involved in rigging with no need for lifts, ladders, catwalks, or counterweight systems. PR Lighting has launched the IP- 65-rated Tango Spot, an outdoor spot equipped with the Atria 620-W bright white LED source. Offering 8- to 56-degree wide zoom control and multi dynamic effects, the Tango Spot is ideal for lighting urban building façades, land- scapes, and other multi-scale locations. Its features include: electronic linearly dimmable strobe (0-100 per cent) with 0.3-25 fps; colour wheel with six colours plus open and half colour effect; bidirectional rainbow effect at variable speeds; and stepped/linear colour changing effects. The rotating gobo wheel contains six replacement glass or metal gobo’s (plus open), bidirectionally rotating at variable speeds.
