Obsidian NX1Lighting Console
Obsidian Control Systems has unveiled the newest member of its ONYX family of lighting consoles , the NX1 . It ’ s a portable but full-featured lighting console running Obsidian ’ s ONYX platform . Utilizing the full ONYX Operating System , the NX1 offers a slate of professional features like a high-brightness 10.1-in . HD multi-touch screen ; four assignable parameter encoders ; 10 full motorized playbacks with four freely-assignable buttons , plus an extra playback and function key hybrid array .
A dedicated Master Go section rounds out the efficient front panel design . The latest in industrial components allows for fast boot times , instant operation and the ability to process eight universes right inside the console . With four DMX ports , a Gigabit network port for up to eight universes of Art-Net , sACN plus the ONYX X-Net protocol , the NX 1 has ample connectivity and power for a wide variety of shows and applications . One additional touch monitor is supported for even more direct access at anytime . The NX1 is expandable with the NX P motorized playback wing and dedicated NX K keypad . A simple magnetic alignment system allows attachment on any side of the NX1 .

Epson EB-PU 2100 and 2200 Pro Series Interchangeable Lens Projectors
Epson has announced the new EB-PU 2100 and 2200 Pro Series interchangeable lens projectors for live event and large venue installations . Offering 13,000 , 16,000 and 20,000 lumen options , the new lineup includes the world ’ s smallest and lightest 20,000 lumen projectors – the EB-PU2220B and EB-PU2120W – which are 60 % smaller and 50 % lighter than their predecessors . The new compact , ultra-lightweight , 3LCD projectors join Epson ’ s existing Pro Series interchangeable lens lineup offering high-powered projection ranging from 6,000 to 30,000 lumens of equal colour and white brightness .
The new Pro Series models are packed with an advanced tool set and three-chip 3LCD technology along with WUXGA resolution with 4K Enhancement Technology to deliver clearer , more lifelike images . Powered by a 20,000-hour virtually maintenance-free laser light source , the new line boasts convenient features ideal for live events , including liquid cooling for enhanced longevity and reliability , 3G-SDI input and output to accommodate daisy-chaining and long cable runs , along with a mechanical shutter to help protect the projectors during laser light shows . The projectors also feature a hermetically sealed optical engine for high dust resistance and a filter-less cabinet for low-maintenance operation .

Laserworld CS-8000RGB FX
Laserworld has released the CS-8000RGB FX , which has two grating effects built-in in addition to the graphics-capable scanners : line grating and burst grating . Together with the ca . 130 ( layers , tunnels , fences , waves , etc .), effects gratings stored on the laser , these effects offer a variety of combinations for illumination of medium- to large-sized locations . The grating effects make the projected patterns appear as if they were displayed by many projectors at the same time . The resulting extensiveness allows for effects that could not be achieved in any other way .
The CS-8000RGB FX is a pure diode , analog modulated , full-colour RGB laser system with a total output power of up to 8,000 mW and a guaranteed output power of 7,300 mW . The red laser source has an output power of 1,800 mW / 638 nm , the green of 1,800 mW / 520 nm and the royal-blue laser source has an output power of 3,700 mW / 450 nm . The diode laser sources ensure powerful laser beams . The projector has good beam specifications with a beam diameter of 5 mm and beam divergence of 1.4 mrad . The galvo system has a scan speed of up to 28kpps @ 8-degree ILDA , galvo system , switchable effects grating wheel . Pattern size can be set by two rotary buttons on the rear side of the housing . The sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted via the integrated display .
