Live Design Industry Heading Back to Vegas for LDI Show
The Live Design International ( LDI ) Show will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center from Nov . 14-20 , 2022 . The exhibit hall will be open from Nov . 18-20 . Advanced rates end on Oct . 15 th .
Prior to the pandemic , LDI regularly hosted over 14,000 members of the production community , working in a wide range of international live and broadcast applications , including festivals , corporate events , theatre , concerts , clubs , theme parks , architainment , and houses of worship . Attendees from more than 80 countries attend to see the latest gear in action from around 400 exhibitors and to refresh their knowledge at the conference .
LDI calls itself the catalyst that connects the entertainment , design , and technology community with manufacturers of cutting-edge gear , and professional training from industry leaders . This year ’ s event will include professional training on the use of XR and virtual production where attendees can learn to enhance audience experiences . There will also be plenty of networking and business opportunities across all aspects of the live events industry .
The LDI Conference schedule includes hundreds of sessions , from lighting desk training to workshops on projection mapping , augmented reality at festivals , spacial audio , making events and tours more environmentally friendly , and more .

The search firm , which was announced earlier this year , has detailed the position and related responsibilities , which include carrying out the vision , mission , and objectives of the global association ; directing professional and support staff in the creation , planning , and coordination of programs to meet objectives ; serving as an advocate for core industry issues ; and directing those engaged in building the industry ’ s annual gathering , The NAMM Show , among many other responsibilities .
Liteline Corp . Announces New Sales Agents in Manitoba & Ontario
Liteline Corporation , a Canadian manufacturer of residential and commercial lighting , has announced the appointment of TMC Sales as its newest agent representing Liteline in Manitoba and Northwest Ontario , starting Aug . 18 , 2022 . The announcement was made by Martin Parilak , western Canada sales manager at Liteline . As well , Liteline also announced that Resilient Sales is now representing its specification and project business in Northern Ontario as of Aug . 1 st .
