LIGHTS & LENSES TV , Film & Broadcast LDs Talk Lighting for the Screen By Andrew Leyenhorst When it comes to fantasizing about lighting , it can be fairly easy to get carried away thinking about the limitless options and infinite creative freedom that comes with designing in previs or even in the room . What happens when you ’ re no longer lighting for the human eye , and moreso for the electric eye of a camera ? How does the approach change ? PL & P sits down with a panel of top LDs to discuss the unique considerations that come into play when designing for picture , the set versus the stage , and more !
