High End Systems Lonestar
High End Systems , an ETC brand , has released the Lonestar , which is designed to deliver the brightness , quality , and performance of the company ’ s more expensive bright white LED framing fixtures in a more compact and affordable package .
With 15,400 lumen output , the Lonestar is a good fit for lighting systems in theatres , television studios , cruise ships , and other small- to medium-sized venues . With punchy output , framing , and a full complement of effects and colour capabilities , the Lonestar is designed to bring high quality and professional feature sets to a size and price where professional quality was formerly out of reach , such as small clubs , churches , etc . It features a 290W , ultra-bright LED engine ; 3.8 to 55-degree zoom ; nine rotating gobos ; five-facet star prism and four-facet linear ; and it weighs 50 lbs .
Astera AX9 PowerPAR
Astera has launched the AX9 PowerPAR . As the name implies , it ’ s a high-intensity , all-purpose everyday LED lighting fixture with battery operation and wireless control .
The new fixture is the “ big brother ” of Astera ’ s AX5 TriplePAR , but the AX9 is bigger , brighter , and incorporates Astera ’ s latest features , like the Titan LED engine , an optimised bracket with Airline Track , a Titan-style keypad for faster and easier local control , and direct control via the AsteraApp . Effectively it is a three-in-one solution , offering a wireless PAR light source that can also be run as a wired PAR for longer-term installations and an up-lighter , with the fixture ’ s 105W output offering over 3,000 Lumens of homogenised light . Being wireless , the AX9 can be used on set , onstage , in the studio , or on location and at short notice , and quickly deployed as and when needed . In situ as a wired PAR , it is just like any standard PAR that is used when lighting is needed over sustained periods of time . The AX9 also works well as a wall- or surface-washing up-lighter – without a flex cover and with the bracket removed – which can produce a streamlined effect .
Robe Cuete Moving Head Spot Light
Robe has introduced the Cuete , a compact moving head spot light fixture designed for small-to-medium productions , performance spaces , or installations .
The Cuete includes the fast pan and tilt movement that is needed for lighting all genres of electronic music . Creating dynamic effects and projections is quick and simple with the Cuete , which offers a CMY colour mixing system and a 4,200-lumen output of sharp , clear white light . To achieve this output and to maintain the light quality and consistency , the Cuete utilises Robe ’ s TE 120W white LED engine , which is at the core of the manufacturer ’ s Transferable Engine technology . The fixture ’ s 16-degree fixed-beam lens has remote control focus and can be swapped to the optional 24-degree lenses for shorter throw and low-ceiling scenarios .
