Vectorworks has launched the 2021 version of its namesake BIM and design software .
This latest release includes Vectorworks Architect , Landmark , Spotlight , Designer , and Fundamentals , as well as 2021 versions of Vision , Braceworks , and ConnectCAD . In addition to quality- and performance-focused features like the new Project Sharing server and multi-threaded Vectorworks Graphics Module ( VGM ) Cache that offers up to five times faster file loading , Vectorworks 2021 boasts interoperability capabilities with Excel Import / Export and PDF Drawing Marker Links . The Smart Options Display also allows users to stay in the modeling space without needing to move their mouse between the drawing area and tool palettes , plus it ’ s customizable to easily access the most-used tool sets , last-used tools , and more . Specifically , architecture and landscape professionals will enjoy the new Materials feature that can define the graphical attributes and data of building materials all in one location for a better BIM workflow . Entertainment professionals will streamline their rigging layout process with the help of improvements to the hoist tools .

Martin Professional IP65-Rated ELP LED Ellipsoidal Fixtures
Martin Professional has expanded the ELP Series of LED ellipsoidal fixtures with IP65-rated variants : the ELP WW IP and ELP CL IP .
The Martin ELP WW IP ( warm white ) provides enhanced colour rendering and brightness , while ELP CL IP ( colour ) delivers rich , saturated colours and output . Now , both fixtures are available in IP65-rated variants , which offer water resistance and complete dust protection while providing the same quality of light , performance , and ease of use . Featuring optic assemblies designed in Denmark , ELP IP fixtures are designed to maximize efficiency and deliver a flat field of illumination for smoother blending and mixing between fixtures . The ELP WW IP delivers 7,000 lumens of output and a 97 CRI at 3,000K-colour temperature , for true colour representation on any surface . The ELP CL IP fixture offers 6,900 lumens and a CRI of 85 in High Output mode , and 5,900 lumens and 90 CRI in High Quality mode , with a colour temperature of 6,000 K ( open white ). Both models offer flicker-free operation for consistent light output on and off camera .

Christie Mirage SST RGB Pure Laser Projector
Christie has launched the Mirage SST RGB pure laser projector with a 50,000-lumen light source , which has the same small and flexible form factor of the original 35,000-lumen Mirage SST .
The updated Mirage SST features a fibre-coupled , ultra-compact projection head weighing just under 51 kg and a remote light source that can be located up to 50 m away from the head . It is engineered specifically for complex applications that require a high-brightness projector with top-end image fidelity , but that are tight on space , such as venues without projection booths or outdoor weatherproof enclosures , or where quiet operation is critical and otherwise challenging to achieve . A wide range of lens options are offered for added installation flexibility , with a total of 10 high-brightness 4K lenses with ratios from an ultra-short throw 0:38:1 to a long throw 7:69:1 , and eight high-contrast lenses that offer enhanced contrast performance from 2000:1 to 5000:1 . The Mirage SST also features TruLife electronics , a proprietary electronics platform that enables frame rates of 120 fps at 4K resolution and up to 480 fps at 2K resolution with an optional license to showcase highly detailed content without motion blur .
