“For much of the year, they’ll be
taking advantage of the technology
but not with a full show like this, so
more like architectural lighting that
highlights some of the details of the
building. But then there’s talk of de-
veloping special content for Hallow-
een, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, so
we’ll be helping them build a wider
range of content over the next year
that will give them plenty of options
for the future.”
As it was with this summer’s
show, the goal going forward is to
highlight the historic building and its
unique architecture while also entic-
ing visitors to explore the new digital
library that calls it home.
As such, the Old Post Office
has become a central attraction in
the City of Cambridge through a
successful marriage of history and
innovation.
