COOL DOWN.
YOUR BODY IS A MACHINE.
Save a few minutes at the end of each workout
to cool down. This allows your heart rate to
transition easily into recovery while breathing
and blood pressure come back to normal.
It also helps improve flexibility and helps
prevent injury. The cool down should be
performed fluidly as a series of movements
rather than individual exercises.
It’s important to prep before you throw
yourself into a workout. Warming up
allows your joints to move through their
full range of motion and can help to
improve the quality of your workout
while reducing your chances of injury.
Think of it as a dress rehearsal for
the main event. Use this warm up
before each exercise in the
BEGINNER program.
