1.6. If ASCE 7-10 is used, this factor shall be equal to 1/0.6 =

Factor for serviceability crack width check
• Select the required safety factor for serviceability crack
width. Serviceability is typically checked using nominal
strengths (1.0) at service loads. See section 9.6.2 for
additional information.
