Sehr geehrter Leser, Dear Reader,
in dieser ersten Ausgabe des VDMA-Branchen-
führer Produkt- und Know-how-Schutz zeigen
Ihnen die 41 Mitglieder der 2010 gegründeten
Arbeitsgemeinschaft Protect-ing ihre Lösungen
aus den Bereichen Produktkennzeichnung, Detek-
tion, Tracking und Tracing, Embedded Security,
technischer Know-how-Schutz sowie Engineering
und Beratung. Original von Plagiat unterscheiden
zu können ist wichtig für Kunden und Hersteller.
Mit präventiven Maßnahmen kann das Herstellen
von Plagiaten erschwert werden. Dazu gilt es
auch das Know-how zu schützen, was bereits
vor den jüngsten Spionageangriffen fast 50%
der deutschen Unternehmen als überlebensnot-
wendig einstuften. in this first edition of the VDMA directory “product
and know-how protection” we are introducing you
to the 41 members of the working group Protect-
ing, founded in 2010. Their solutions span across
the areas of product identification, detection,
tracking and tracing, embedded security, technical
know-how protection as well as engineering and
consulting. Being able to distinguish between ori-
ginal and counterfeited copies is of the essential
for customers and manufacturers. Preventive
measures can complicate the life of plagiarists.
This is also the case for know-how protection;
even prior to the recent espionage attacks, it was
in fact estimated that almost 50% of German
companies are in need of such competences for
their own survival.
