We love Summer Holidays!
6 days every week for 6 weeks in August of every year, the YRC Summer Holiday Program is organized to positively and productively engage the youths of the community during the long holiday period. In 2019 we had over 400 participants registered for the program.
The program affords the youths a lots of opportunities for life-skill learning, character building, and self development. The program is carefully designed to ensure that participants leave the summer camp with new skills and better understanding of their responsibilities as young adults in the society. The program also provide an atmosphere that helps stimulate the development of their self-esteem as they interact in their various groups, leading various activities and resolving team challenges.
The 2019 edition was filled with a lots of learning and excitement as the youths had opportunities to engage with various resource persons on different topics from financial management, career development to leadership. The program also had various team building and other youth oriented activities incorporated. These include the Old- School event, the cultural day program, and aerobics for youths.
