THE YRC SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAM
6 days every week for 6 weeks, the YRC Summer Holiday Program is organized every year to positively and productively engage
the youths of the community during the long holiday period. The Summer Holiday Program commenced in 2015 with only 120 participants, and since then the number of youths participating in the program has increased by over 200%. In 2017 we had over 300 participants and last year we had to limit the number of participants to 240 due to space constraints.
The program affords the youths with lots of opportunities for life-skill learning, character building, and self development. The program is carefully designed to ensure that participants leave the summer camp with new skills and better understanding of their responsibilities as young adults in the society. The program also provides an atmosphere that helps stimulate the development of their self-esteem as they interact in their various groups, leading various activities and resolving team challenges.
