Sounds and Lights of the Youth Festival of Life, 2018
February is always an exciting month for schools on the Island as they start finalizing their preparations for the biggest educational festival in Rivers State - The YRC Youth Festival of Life. With over 1500 students in attendance from 18 secondary schools and 300 visitors including teachers, parents and other educational stakeholders in the community, the festival brings everyone together in a two-day thrilling event.
Schools have the opportunity to showcase their students with various talents and also promote the excellent work they are doing with their students. The students also use the platform to exhibit their gifts, talents and gifts in drama,
spoken word poetry, music, dance, science innovation, arts and grafts. The highlight of the festival is always the Award night!
