rom splinters to stab wounds
and broken bones to bites and
stings, knowing how to perform
basic first aid is, without question, one of the most important skills anybody can learn. Sometimes, however,
these skills just aren’t enough and it is
necessary to call in the professionals.
Luckily for us, local paramedic and exnurse Hazel was at hand to answer all of
our questions at Froggatt First Aid Club!
Students, who dedicate their Tuesday
lunchtimes to learn life-saving skills, were
thrilled when they had the chance to
chat to an experienced paramedic about
flashing blue lights and the responsibility
of having somebody else’s life in your
hands.
