The summer season is winding down and everyone is get- ting ready here for the winter hall season. We saw record number of ERSA Pro Tour Stringers in tournaments this summer. We are working on a few new projects to help our members get jobs in tournaments as well as in shops. With the US Open is swing, there are lots of new rackets coming out this month. This month we introduce the new Yonex Ezone line and the new Wilson Ultra line of rackets. Several new racket Lines will be introduced in the next several issues. We have been testing the rackets and find the new technolo- gies have made improvements in the rackets. We had to change venues in Milan for the 2018 Symposium and hope to have everything finished in the next 10 days. We will send out a special mailing with dates, hotels, prices and the schedule for the Symposium. I spent most of my life as a tennis player, coach and stringer. I have seen many people at the end of their career having trouble standing all day with knee and back problems, myself included. My left knee was getting worse the last year and was getting difficult standing all day and playing sports. I decided to get hyaluronan shots in both knees. This allowed me to start slowly playing sports again and at the same time went on a gluten free diet. I lost eight kilos in 2 months and can run, jump and play tennis again. I have more energy and no pain in my knee and back anymore. I encourage anyone who has knee pain from sport and standing to long to try these shots. I know from some ex top players who coach now were also at a point of quitting before try- ing this. I will be in China, Korea and Taiwan in October doing workshops. Any members in Asia interested to take part or in certification testing please contact me. Best regards Mark Maslowski
