We still need a new name for the 2018 Stringers Digest. We are offering prizes for the top 3 places in the contest (rackets, strings, bags). You can send in as many names as you like. We hope to decide by August 1. We have already tested over 30 people with the new ERSA Master Professional Stringer Tennis Level 1 Certification. I just finished up with the newest version of the ERSA Professional Stringer Certification this week. Summer vacation for me is re-writing and adding photos for the Techniques Section of the 2018 stringers book. Everything will be finished by September and we will send out the Technique Section then to all mem- bers. It will cover tennis, badminton, squash and racquetball. Master Professional Stringer Tennis Level 2 will be finished in September. We received the stats for the US tennis market and is down quite a bit for 2016. The data is in the Industry News this issue, I am trying to get the stats for Europe and the rest of the world to get a better view of the direction of tennis in the next years. I am starting now to organize the next Symposium for Milano this month. We hope to have over 100 people attending. We will offer many courses 2 or three times so everyone can take part in small groups. Also, we will give one private lesson to ev- eryonefree of charge, the same as the last 4 years. 1 each the first two days. Anyone wanting more can book directly with the instructor the last two days. The 2018 Symposium will be bigger and better than the last 4. We work very hard analyzing what we can do bet- ter and asking the members what they are interested in. I hope to see many new faces in Milano next April. Best regards Mark Maslowski
