Apeer unveils Velour door collection with resilient textured finish
Apeer has launched its new Velour Collection, a range of contemporary uPVC doorsets that combine a finely textured, seamless finish with the durability and low-maintenance performance required for everyday use.
Designed to retain its appearance over time, the Velour finish is resistant to scratches, fingerprints and dirt, while also withstanding UV rays, temperature extremes and exposure to chemicals commonly found in cleaning products.
The collection comprises five door styles, available in Black and Anthracite Grey, with white available internally. Each features Apeer’ s new colour-matched glazing surrounds, creating a clean and consistent contemporary look. A selection of obscure and sandblasted glazing options is also available, giving fabricators, installers and homeowners greater flexibility when specifying individual doorsets.
“ Velour is where lasting elegance meets effortless maintenance,” says Apeer’ s Managing Director Asa McGillian.“ We wanted to create a collection that delivers a premium, contemporary appearance while also meeting the practical demands of everyday life.
“ Particular attention has been paid to the details, from the finely textured finish and colour-matched glazing surrounds through to the finish’ s resistance to marks, dirt and environmental exposure. The result is a door that not only looks good when it’ s installed but is designed to retain that appearance over the long term with minimal upkeep.
“ It’ s a combination of design, durability and practicality that offers something genuinely different to homeowners looking for a contemporary entrance door.”

Entrance Composite Door Solutions expands Elegance Collection with timber-inspired designs
Entrance Composite Door Solutions has expanded its Elegance Collection with new designs developed to deliver a more authentic timber-inspired appearance while retaining the performance benefits of a GRP composite door.
Officially launched on July 1, the updated collection introduces the Evoke, a six-panel moulded door design alongside the new Contour Traditional cassette, which has been developed to replicate the appearance of traditional timber mouldings. These additions build on the existing Elegance Collection, which previously featured a flush slab option and Urban cassette.
Gregory Kelly, Managing Director at Entrance Composite Door Solutions, said:
“ The market is seeing growing demand for entrance doors with a more authentic timber appearance, but with the benefits of modern composite materials.
“ We developed the updated Elegance Collection to give installers more choice when customers want traditional styling combined with the durability, security and low-maintenance benefits of a GRP composite door.”
The collection features smooth skin finishes,
moulded panels and traditional-style glazing options, providing design choices for period properties and contemporary homes seeking a softer, more traditional aesthetic.
Available with the same 17-day lead time as other painted doors supplied by the company, the updated Elegance Collection meets PAS24 and Part Q security standards. The door performance report provides a thermal performance figure of 1.2 W / m ². K.
The collection supports the firm’ s‘ Entrance Way’ concept, helping installers create entrance doors that balance considered design with the practical benefits of modern GRP composite construction.

on the exterior and Chalk White on the interior. This was completed with Georgian bars, decorative glazing beads, trickle vent covers and cills, creating an elegant, heritage-inspired appearance.
At the back of the property, Residence 7 casement windows were installed in No. 10 Black on the exterior and Chalk White on the interior to maintain the same flush detailing while achieving a striking contemporary finish.
The installation also included a Residence 7 open-in entrance door that was half glazed, half panel in the colour Painswick. For this renovation, all products were manufactured with Timberweld ® technology and fitted with double glazing, combining authentic timber-style aesthetics with the performance and low-maintenance benefits of modern PVC-U.
The Residence Collection was chosen as the homeowners were looking for windows and doors that delivered a premium, modern appearance without the

bulky, plastic look often associated with traditional PVC-U products. Residence 7 was the perfect solution that ticked all the boxes, offering slim sightlines, authentic timber detailing and a sophisticated finish that has already been complimented by neighbours and people passing by. Elliott Green, Interior Designer at Molecule Design said,“ We were honoured to have our property featured on George Clarke’ s Beautiful Builds. We are so proud of this renovation, and it still feels slightly surreal that it was featured on prime-time TV. We love how this turned out and can’ t wait to design more properties like this one.”
Jo Trotman, Sales and Marketing Manager at The Residence Collection comments,“ We are so proud to see this incredible renovation featuring Residence 7 windows and doors throughout the property. A great collaboration with fabricator Window Tech Trade, and we hope to work with them on more projects like this in the future. It is fantastic to
