GET HELP WITH ALUMINIUM MARKETING
Gloucestershire based aluminium fabricator. Customade says
copies of its new aluminium retail brochure are ‘flying off
the shelves.’ As installers catch on to the growing potential
of aluminium, they are also showing increasing interest in
Customade’s showroom and marketing support package.
The 36-page ‘REAL Aluminium’ brochure is dedicated to
the full range of aluminium
fenestration products. It has
been designed to introduce
homeowners to the designer
appeal of aluminum and to
bring them the industry’s
widest choice of aluminium
windows, bi-folding doors,
sliding doors, composite
doors, French doors, residential doors and roof lanterns.
REAL Aluminium has been created to give the installer everything
they need to promote and sell
aluminium with complete confidence.
The brochure can be totally
personalised to the installer and
has been designed to fill a gap in
the market for a professional retail
aluminium brochure. With a blend
of product information and lifestyle imagery, it helps the homeowner to visualise how aluminium
windows, doors or lanterns could
transform their home and add

value to their property. Illustrated
with beautiful photography of
aluminium in real-life properties, it
takes the reader through each element of an aluminium installation
in a clear and easy to understand
format.
Claire Miller, Customade Group’s
marketing manager, said: “The
entire concept of REAL Aluminium is to make pricing, quoting
and promoting aluminium as easy
as child’s play. A dedicated retail
website is currently in development, which will supply our customers with high quality leads for
aluminium products with typically
higher profit margins.”
New app will take sales
to the next level
The new interactive app
from leading Irish fabricator Camden is now
available to download
from Apple’s App Store.
Andrew McAteer, group
marketing manager, said:
“The app is a great way to
promote Camden’s range
of bespoke products in an
interactive way. It opens up
the opportunity for installers
to showcase the products
they are selling through the
power of technology to the
end-user.
“The app helps create
the perfect scenario for the
consumer trying to decide
on what type of products or
design they want for their
property. Once downloaded,
it can be used on an iPad or
even run through a showroom touch screen to guide
the customer through their
exact requirements.”
The app offers interactive
options including the choice
of designing composite entrance doors, vertical sliders
and bi-fold door combinations to specific requirements, enabling the client
to change the styles, colour
or hardware options to suit
their needs.
Andrew added: “With consumers becoming so much
more savvy when it comes to
technology, printed marketing material will of course
never become obsolete, but
it does tend to take a back
seat when a more interactive
option is available.
“We want our customers
to be able to share and promote our products via these
interactive possibilities and
heighten the homeowner’s
sales experience of our
brands and products. The
app helps our customers
achieve this level of sales
technique in an easy to use
way, giving an instant and
positive reaction.”
The app is just one of the
initiatives that have been
put in place to support
Camden’s continuing investment strategy to support its
customers.
