Twelve months after its launch, Ian Short, Managing Director of Uni-Blinds ® integral blinds manufacturer Morley Glass, explains why its Approved Installer Scheme is going from strength-to-strength and how it will be developing further in 2026.
There are still very significant opportunities for installers to sell integral blinds to more homeowners, despite them now being available in the UK for over 30 years, especially with the right assistance from us, the manufacturer. Hence why we developed our Approved Installer Scheme.
The thinking behind this scheme was to offer installers a package of integral blind systems and support that they can depend on – something unique in the market. And, twelve months after we launched the programme, feedback from installers who have already signed up to become a Morley Glass Trade Partner has been extremely positive.

is also continuously evolving, and we have exciting plans for 2026 that we think will give our Trade Partners even more.
Boosting lead tracking
A key development for next year will be a new lead tracking tool, which is currently being created by a leading industry software partner. This will help our Trade Partners to process and track leads originating from Morley Glass more easily. These could be, for example, from end-users calling our team to request a replacement integral blind unit or people who have found us while searching for products online.

It will be an important development of our scheme, and one that we think will help our Trade Partners to capitalise on sales opportunities more quickly.

By providing quotations in less than 60 minutes in normal circumstances, and offering a lead time as short as 10-12 working days, we help installers to‘ strike while the iron is hot’ at the sales enquiry stage.

We have always recognised the importance of reliable delivery. That’ s why we have invested in our own fleet of 32 vans, enabling us to deliver orders with maximum reliability at no additional cost to our customers.
Extensive training and technical support
We provide our Trade Partners with all the training and help they need to be fully confident installing integral blinds. And we have a wealth of technical knowledge available within the Morley Glass team that they can tap into at any time to advise

on system feasibility and more unusual project requirements, backed by resources including written installation guides and how-to videos.
Comprehensive aftersales support and five year warranties
All our Uni-Blinds ® are supplied with a five year warranty which is backed by our ScreenLine ® manufacturer partner, Pellini S. p. A., for total peace of mind. We also have a customer service team available to assist our Trade Partners, plus troubleshooting guides designed to help them resolve the vast majority of issues themselves, quickly and easily.
Where our aftersales service really stands out, however, is with our service engineers. They are available to visit customers across the UK when an issue cannot be resolved by our Trade Partners to complete the required repairs or to replace units if necessary.
Saving installers money on waste disposal through IGU recycling
One final key benefit for our Trade Partners is our post-consumer IGU collection and recycling service, which we provide at no extra cost. This can help them save money on landfill waste disposal costs, potentially resulting in savings of thousands of pounds annually.
