Working in the same way as a more visible window or door sensor , WindowSense fits discretely into the actual profile of a window frame .
Once fitted , customers need only the ERA Protect HUB to be fully protected – once alarmed , the sensor will not only alert you if the window is opened but also send a reminder to close windows if the alarm is set whilst they are open .
With long life batteries , WindowSense has been designed to fit neatly into a frame , as part of a new window , or can be retro-fitted by a competent window installer .
Along with the ERA Protect Alarm , Outdoor Camera and Floodlight Camera , WindowSense is controlled by one easy to use intuitive smartphone app .

Being involved right from the conception , through extensive research and development and finally to the manufacture of ERA Protect , the next generation wireless smart security system and the first of its kind to attain the prestigious BSI IoT Kitemark , Kevin Spencer , Product Manager for Smartware shares his thoughts on this exciting new security system .
