Barrier Components’ stainless steel posts and spigots are proving to be increasingly popular, triggered by the current growth in sales of glass balustrade systems. Available to buy on the website directly or by phone via the technical sales team, there is a range of pre-assembled posts, tilt-loc spigots and stand-off adapters suitable for a wide range of applications.
The pre-assembled post system consists of posts with glass clamps pre-attached allowing for rapid installation. Posts are available 42.4mm or 48.3mm in diameter and handrails are also sold to match. All posts come with pan head fixings on the top and are designed for an easy installation with maximum flexibility to meet many design requirements.
The new Tilt-Loc Spigots, designed to hold the glass, offer a revolutionary adjustment that allows accurate glass alignment for the balustrade making installation simple. These spigots have been extensively tested to achieve a 1.5kN rating on specific glass sizes whilst also accommodating numerous glass sizes at both 0.36kN and 0.74kN.
They are available for Base, Side and Edge designs.
For glass balustrade applications requiring no visible fixings from one side, Glass Stand-Off Adapters are a perfect solution. With the sheer strength of over 23kN and the ultimate flexibility of glass thicknesses between 8mm and 25.52mm, all designs can be catered for.
There are three options in the range 30mm, 40mm and 50mm and all made from 316 grade stainless steel.
