NEW KIT FOR
DOUBLE DOORS
P C Henderson has released a new additional door kit to enhance its Rustic 80 sliding gear.
Specifically created to meet the demand for double door installations,
the new kit contains all the hardware
needed to specify a two-door Rustic
system. Rustic 80 meets the demand
for a traditional look and is now
capable of taking an additional door
weighing up to 80kg. It is ideal for
barn conversions, period properties,
or as a unique feature in the home or
workplace.
Rustic 80 has been designed and tested
for interior applications. It features exposed
steel straps that fasten down the front of
the door to support the rustic finish whilst
the beautifully crafted hangers run smoothly along a flat bar track. It is available with
nylon bearinged wheels to provide smooth
and silent running and allows for ease of installation making it ideal for refurbishment
and new build projects.
Andrew Royle, sales and marketing director at P C Henderson, comments: “Up to
now, customers wanting to hang two doors
to cover one opening would have had to
buy two systems, meaning that one track
would not be used. Customers can now
just specify one Rustic 80, with the option
of the additional fixing kit for double door
installations.
“As the demand for double door applications increases our customers will benefit
from a lower cost of specification as it eliminates the need to buy two systems when
hanging double doors.”
The main components of the Rustic 80
sliding hardware are made of carbon steel
with a black powder coating finish for a
sleek and elegant style. It comes with two
different track lengths of 2m and 3m, and is
tested to withstand over 100,000 cycles for
maximum reliability. The new additional kit
contains two hangers (boxes with fixings),
two door stops, two anti-jump blocks with
screws, one floor guide with screws and
two black oval flush pulls.
