NEW SHOWROOM MARKS MOVE INTO RETAIL

Epwin Group paid a visit to Flintshire-based home improvement company Flintshire Windows recently in celebration of a 20-year partnership. A commemorative plaque was presented to director Dennis Hynes by Epwin’ s Katrina Earl and Total Glass’ sales and marketing manager Phil Creswell. The gesture was to thank him for being a customer for more than two decades and to promote the company’ s time with Profile22. Flintshire Windows is also celebrating the opening of a new showroom at its north Wales site. Director Dennis Hynes explains:“ Up until recently we had mostly worked with local councils and a showroom wasn’ t really necessary for us. As part of our plans for growth, we are starting to focus more on the retail side of the business and decided a showroom would be a good place for our customers to come and see who we are and what we can offer.“ With displays of windows and composite doors, we are hoping to‘ officially’ open the showroom in the next couple of months, but from customers we have had coming in to the office and seeing it so far, we have had great feedback. We are also really grateful to have the support from Total Glass and Epwin providing banners and advertising for the new showroom once we open.” With more than 28 years’ experience, and 20 years with Profile22, Dennis has found a profile he likes and is sticking with it:“ Backed with the stability you get from having a large business like Epwin behind you, for a small business like ours, it means we can offer the full package to our customers and give them complete peace of mind.” Since opening the doors to Flintshire Windows in 1989, Dennis has seen firsthand how the industry has changed:“ Products have moved on massively since I started and what was once a simple product designed to let light in and the weather out, the industry has now moved on so much with the technology that is available today.”
