First on board in the major recruitment drive, which will cover all levels and all areas of the business, are regional sales manager Nigel Evans and IT programmer Joanne Higgins. Nigel has worked in the doors and windows sector since 1977 and his extensive experience includes a spell in the insulation industry. After starting as a salesman for a major window company he moved in to selling window profiles and more Before recently worked in windows hardware. Based at Bromley in Kent, Nigel will work as Apeer’s south-east regional sales manager. Joanne Higgins joins the Apeer head office team in Ballymena with five years’ experience as an IT programmer. She said: “IT and technology has progressed dramatically over the last few years.
