POLYFRAME STRENGTHENS OFFER WITH YALE RAPIDE LOCK
Polyframe has furthered its alliance with leading security brand
Yale with the announcement that the Yale Rapide lock – one of the
strongest and highest performing window locks on the market – is
now available across Polyframe’s entire range of PVCu windows.
The development
means that installers and
homeowners can now
upgrade their hardware
specification to Yale’s Rapi-
de lock on any of the five
window systems fabricat-
ed by Polyframe (REHAU,
VEKA, Halo, Duraflex and
Eurocell) and qualify for
Polyframe’s homeowner
guarantee – the ‘Polyframe
Protection Promise’.
Richard Lee, PVCu cate-
gory director at Polyframe,
says: “The Polyframe ethos
is all about delivering the
very best for installers
and homeowners with the
broadest choice of PVCu
profiles, a market leading
homeowner security guar-
antee and trusted hardware.
Yale is a brand that’s rec-
ognised by 98% of consum-
ers and we’re delighted to
partner with them to bring
this exceptional locking
system on board for our
customers.
“Providing unbeatable
security and weather perfor-
mance, we feel the Rapide
is the best window lock on
the market and, together
with our Polyframe Pro-
tection Promise, it delivers
complete peace of mind
for the homeowner. We are
the only fabricator to offer
such an impressive pack-
age and we’re proud to be
driving the industry forward
with developments like this
that add value to our trade
customers and give them
an advantage within the
marketplace.”
The Yale Rapide is the
only window lock in the
UK to engage along the
full keep length, making
it the strongest, safest and
highest performing win-
dow lock on the market.
Made from aluminium, it is
built to withstand sustained
forces of over 4,000 new-
tons. The Rapide has been
independently tested to far
exceed the British security
standard PAS24:2016 and is
Secured by Design ap-
proved. It features a unique
fully retractable lock, which
allows it to sit flush within
the Eurogroove for a sleek
and discreet appearance.
