FlushSash brings Aztec to
the Network VEKA fold
Aztec Windows is the latest
company to sign-up as an
affiliate supplier to pioneering
glazing industry standards
organisation, Network VEKA.
The Coventry-based
company fabricates
high-spec products
from The VEKA UK
Group - the use of
which is a pre-requisite
for Network VEKA’s
150-strong membership.
One product that particularly factored in Aztec’s
affiliate membership is
Halo’s FlushSash system
which, while faithful to the
appearance of traditional
wooden-framed windows,
provides all the modern-day
benefits of PVCu replacements.
John Ogilvie, Managing
Director of Network VEKA,
commented:“Network VEKA
members are keen to promote and sell products from
The VEKA UK Group, par-
ticularly ones with unique
selling points, and the
FlushSash window through
Aztec is a good example of
this.”
Aztec, which recently
celebrated its 25th year of
trading, was the first Halo
customer to begin fabricating the FlushSash system,
instantly bringing the company to Network VEKA’s
attention. Priding itself on
the ability to provide customers with an unrivalled
package of benefits and
superior levels of customer service, throughout the
PVCu installation process,
the Network instantly saw
the potential in FlushSash,
especially for properties situated in conservation areas
where authentic looks are
all-important.
Network VEKA’s list of
affiliate members covers
everything required for
premium PVCu glazing
installations; from hinges
and fasteners to financial
services and even fleet vehicles with members eligible
for special prices and other
benefits.
John continues: “The goal
with Network VEKA has
always been to raise standards throughout the PVCu
window industry, and with
affiliate members like Aztec
on-hand to provide our installers with high-spec prod-
ucts for a specific market
need, we continue to keep
all the bases covered.”

CHEADLE GLASS
‘STEELS’ THE
CONTRACT
Award-winning installer, Cheadle Glass had no problem finding a colour

Working with trade fabricator, Glazerite Windows Limited, it not only
found the right foil colour but also
came up with an excellent style
match for the timber window frames
that were being replaced. Matching
existing window arrangements was
essential to the contract, so the two
companies turned to the ‘Variations’
range from VEKA, and found that its
‘Steel Blue’ colour, was spot on.
Using VEKA’s fully sculptured profile,
Glazerite produced frames that replicated
the style of the original timber and also
