RAISING THE BAR ON INSTALLER SUPPORT

Ian Short, Managing Director of Uni-Blinds ® manufacturer Morley Glass, explains why the company’ s Registered Installer Scheme offering industry-leading support for window and door installers can help them increase sales of these premium products and deliver projects most efficiently.
In over two decades of manufacturing bespoke ScreenLine ® integral blinds, the one thing that our customers tell us they value most is knowing that they have the backing of a knowledgeable, capable team at every stage of the customer journey from quote to aftersales care.
That’ s why we’ ve created a business that is structured to support installers in the best possible way. From help with generating interest amongst homeowners through comprehensive marketing materials and providing quotes quickly, to responding efficiently to technical queries and providing installation training and support that enables them to complete work to the highest standards, our service is designed to offer complete end-to-end support.
Service built around installers
We know that by providing a service that helps installers do everything right when supplying integral blinds, we become much more than a product manufacturer. We can play an active role in helping our customers generate extra sales revenue through the addition of integral blinds to window and door orders. But our installer support strategy never stands still. We are continuously adapting our service to ensure installers can stay ahead of the curve and respond in the best possible way to changing marketing demands and trends.
Last year, we brought all our services together in a single package that installers can take advantage of by joining our Registered Installer Scheme. Installers who sign up become a Morley Glass Trade Partner – there is no cost to join, and it gives access to all these services:
Sales and marketing support
Uni Blinds ® occupy a position in the market as the premium integral blind choice, and we have spent over 20 years developing this brand. The quality of the systems is reflected through a range of professional marketing materials which Trade Partners can use to support the sales process.
These include brochures, point of sale resources, colour swatches and other tools designed to help installers generate customer interest and convert enquiries into orders. Installers also benefit from the consumer focused Direct Integral Blinds website, which allows homeowners to research Uni Blinds ® independently and arrive better informed.
Rapid turnaround from quotations to delivery
As a Trade Partner, you also benefit from fast, responsive service. Quotations are typically provided in under 60 minutes, and manufacturing lead times are industry-leading – as short as 10 – 12 working days. This speed enables installers to respond quickly to customer enquiries and maintain momentum through to installation, reducing the risk of delays affecting sales conversion.
To ensure reliability and minimise disruption, we operate our own delivery fleet, meaning we are best placed to deliver on time – which we do at no additional cost.
Training and technical support
Whilst Uni Blinds ® units are easy to install, we help installers get the best result on-site every time. Our Trade Partners have access to in person or online training, supported by installation guides and step by step videos, ensuring installations can be completed correctly and efficiently.
Market-leading aftersales care and warranties
Installers benefit from comprehensive aftersales support, including access to an experienced, knowledgeable customer service team, practical troubleshooting resources and a team of nationwide services engineers who can provide onsite support where required. In addition, all Uni Blinds ® are supplied with a five year warranty on the main integral blind system that installers can depend on the unlikely event of issues arising.
Complimentary postconsumer IGU recycling
A final dimension to being a Trade Partner is our service to collect and recycle the IGUs removed during new window and door installations. As a Trade Partner, you can take advantage of our pioneering IGU recycling service, which helps reduce waste disposal costs and contributes to being a more sustainable business.
