A minimum annal spend will be required to remain on the scheme , this will be set by the relevant account manager at the point of engagement .
A fully Licensed Network Installer will have undertaken full training on the construction and installation of the product range and be consummate with all aspects of products and legislation relating to them . Alternatively , they will be able to demonstrate their in-depth understanding of the Icotherm roofs from previous experience . In both instances a project or projects will have been submitted to Icotherm for independent inspection to ensure all installation standards are met .
Evidence that roof installations are certified using our approved inspector .
Will need to demonstrate they actively promote the full range of Icotherm products on their website and offer no alternative solid roof options or advertise any competitor solid roof system within their website or any of their marketing material . We will update websites FREE OF CHARGE , where possible , via our marketing agency if required .
Evidence required of membership of a certified industry body ( Fensa / Certass ) and / or MTC or NVQ qualifications for installers .
Icotherm will reserve the right to carry out random checks with homeowners to obtain installation experience feedback .
Must have a showroom or ‘ consumer touch point ’. We may accept those without if they can demonstrate they have other methods of displaying product , with previous customers for example .
Must handle all Icotherm retail enquiries in a speedy and professional manner . Complaints from consumers for lack of poor handling of an enquiry may lead to removal from the scheme .
There will be no requirement to buy a set number of roofs per year .
A Registered Installer will need to have undertaken at least one site inspection of a roof installation to ensure the standards we expect are fulfilled .
Evidence that roof installations are covered by building control .
To be actively promoting tiled / solid conservatory roofs .
Evidence of minimum standards of technical competency to be shown by virtue of Icotherm site inspection .
No showroom required but must carry Icotherm roof samples to show consumers .

‘ Complete peace of mind ’
As part of the installer scheme Icotherm has partnered with The Home Improvement Group ( HIG ); provider of insurance-backed guarantees and backed by Trading Standards . As a scheme member Icotherm will cover the annual fee of £ 295.00 plus VAT to enable installers to offer the HIG insurance to their customers .
HIG cover includes :
• Deposit protection up to 25 % of contract value – this includes registering the deposit before your customer is required to hand over the deposit to you , so they have instant cover
• Work in Progress cover up to 25 % of contract value
• Workmanship and materials ( in line with manufacturer ’ s guarantees ) for up to 10 years
