GET CONNECTED WITH THE ‘INNOVATION
THAT UNDERPINS HOME SECURITY’
ERA will be using the 2019 FIT show to demonstrate how it continues to drive the innovation that
underpins home security. Visitors to Stand L30 will be able to see the company’s full range of
hardware and smartware products, including new developments, all backed up by practical advice
and wider customer support to help fabricators and installers grow their business. There will also be
an opportunity to find out about how to sign up to a new installer scheme just introduced by ERA.
One of the key areas of
the stand will be used to
showcase ERA’s smart-
ware solutions including
the HomeGuard Pro alarm,
a high specification cloud-
based alert and monitoring
alarm system, the first of
its kind to combine securi-
ty with smart living. Using
a smartphone app, the
HomeGuard Pro offers real
time alerts, the ability to
protect multiple locations,
such as a house, office or
holiday home, all accessi-
ble literally anytime, any-
where. Likewise, ERA’s WiFi
video doorbell, DoorCam,
allows homeowners to view
all callers and talk to them
in real time, whether they
are home or not. With ease
of operation in mind, once
DoorCam is wired in, the
householder can simply
plug in the WiFi chime
which comes as stand-
ard, connecting up to four
more chimes in the home,
all as part of the package.
This means a chime will
sound in the house, with
adjustable sound, volume
and light function, elimi-
nating the need to carry a
Smartphone around. Both
HomeGuard Pro and Door-
Cam will be demonstrated
on the stand, and visi-
tors will also be given the
chance to try them out for
themselves and learn how
to install them with ease.
Elsewhere on the stand
visitors will be able to see
in operation ERA’s Touch-
Key, a keyless smart lock
bringing to life a fully inte-
grated suite of connected
Smart Security Products.
Working in combination
with ERA’s SureFire lock,
the TouchKey also offers
a solution for multi-point
locks on PVCu and Com-
posite doors. Developed
to be secure and simple to
use and easy to fit, SURE-
FIRE delivers effortless
multi-point locking: simply
close the door to engage
the trigger and turn a
key to dead-
lock.
No FIT show would be
complete without ERA’s

Door Security system can

of sustained attack with-
out the use of a sacrificial
section - so when the
intruder has given up and
gone the key can still be
used to open the door. The
Kitemark™ logo stamped
on the face of the cylin-
der provides assurance to
the end-user that the 3*
Invincible Cylinder meets
BSI requirements, and also
acts as a visual deterrent
to potential intruders due
to the unique, sturdy shape
of the cylinder.
Of particular interest
to installers is sure to be

Installer Scheme, which
