IMPROVED CUSTOMER SUPPORT

STOP, LISTEN AND LEARN

For all the good reasons to get along to the FIT Show 2017 at the NEC on 23rd-25th May, the opportunity to learn more about the industry- and maximise the potential of your business- has to be among the most important.
Knowledge is power, and at this year’ s FIT Show there are going to be wide-ranging seminar sessions and discussions, hosted by a broad spectrum of industry experts.
This is the show’ s most comprehensive seminar programme yet, with distinguished speakers covering a full spectrum of key topics for the window, door and conservatory industry. A total of 19 seminar sessions has been scheduled for the exhibition, all planned to provide show-goers with up to date advice on market conditions, regulations and finance, to the latest sales, business and installation guidance.
There will also be a separate and dedicated programme from systems house AluK, which will be hosting seminars about the aluminium industry.
Visitors to the Expert Zone on AluK’ s stand( Q10) will gain invaluable insight into the aluminium market from the likes of CAB chairman, Justin Ratcliffe, as well as get up to speed with the latest products, regulations and trends.
In addition, hardware specialist MACO will be hosting a‘ Tweet and Meet’(# TNMP4), on stand E20 between 5-8pm on Tuesday 23rd May, that will invite guests, in an informal environment, to address topics such as poor customer service and price increases, to more technical subjects such as PAS24 and DocQ.
All seminars, on stand B70, are free to attend to FIT Show visitors. For more details, visit: http:// www. fitshow. co. uk / seminars. For more information on the AluK seminars please visit: http:// www. fitshow. co. uk / aluk-seminar
The Apeer team is adding the final touches to plans for this year’ s FIT show as it prepares to return for the third time in May.
Arriving on stand K30 will be the latest from Lumi, an innovative and award-winning collection of windows and doors, as well as a selection of the most popular products from the Apeer doors range.
“ In recent years it has been all about the products on the stand, especially as we were launching and developing Lumi. Of course, we are thrilled to be showcasing some wonderful new products at the next FIT Show, but for 2017 we have made a real push to upgrade our online presence and customer support offering too,” explained Linda Tomb, marketing manager.
“ Our showroom in Ballymena has recently undergone a makeover which now offers a far better place to showcase the latest Lumi products, and we are really excited to share this with FIT Show visitors alongside our other developments,” Linda added.
Whilst the renovation works were underway Apeer has been finalising preparations for a pair of upmarket new brochures scheduled to be released in time for the upcoming show. The brochures, one each for Lumi and Apeer doors, will also be supported by the launch of two contemporary new websites, as Apeer director, Asa McGillian explains:
“ Launching a dedicated Lumi website and complementary brochure were

always something that we had in mind, but we had to make sure that the Apeer doors side of the business didn’ t get left behind in doing so. The Apeer doors website was last updated in 2015 and everyone felt it was time to give it a refresh to maintain consistency between the two brands. Both sites have been designed to complement one another and incorporate similar user friendly features and layouts. I hope users are pleased with the results.”
Key updates to Apeer’ s online Doorbuilder feature
will be another improvement that the company is keen to share with existing and potential customers. This highly useful online pricing and ordering tool has been overhauled to incorporate the entire list of Apeer products, including the most recent additions to the Lumi window and door range. To highlight the array of Doorbuilder features and how the programme can support the design, costing and ordering process, Apeer have made sure that handson demonstrations will be readily available for any curious visitors.
Asa concluded:“ Our main goal from these improvements has been to increase the stream of leads that we provide for our existing Apeer trade partners, whilst showcasing what we can do for new members. The latest launches and updates, coupled with our regular advertising, will create some brilliant opportunities for our partners.”
