combination of full product support and extensive backing from marketing material, we can offer the last word in delivering growth for our customers,” explains Ray McGrady, director of marketing.“ We have recently completed a revamp of our offering – from drop cards and brochures to fullfledged websites – to make sure that our customers get the opportunities they deserve.”
The key benefit and standard offer for all UK Fabrication customers will be its flexibility and ease of use. Using the online portal, orders can be placed and amended – even at the last minute, preventing a waste of time and money that could result from just a simple error. The portal places greater control over installer orders. They can get glass sizes with a quick click, and look through a complete history of their purchases, as well as being able to maximise cost advantages. Orders can be tracked too, making sure that everything is progressing as expected, and ensuring that installers
can promise and – more importantly – deliver to their customers. Essentially, the portal allows the greatest control possible, with a convenient interface and competitive pricing. Whether they are buying fabricated frames currently or are a fabricator looking to come out of fabrication, this system gives the control that a business needs.
“ The MASCO UK Fabrication strategy isn’ t just about quantity, but about quality,” says Andrew Stevenson, customer experience director.“ We’ re not content with just being the provider of quality products. Our entire infrastructure enables ease of use and transparency, so that the installer can see exactly what’ s happening, and make changes as needed. With bespoke material available for certain customers, our offering is tailored to support your business needs.”
Further enabling growth, MASCO UK Fabrication has ramped up its product offering, with further products still to come. The launch of the new bi-fold doors – both
PVCu and aluminium – has received praise so far, and the impending release of the much-anticipated flush sash will continue a string of high profile product launches. Added to UK Fabrication’ s bi-fold offering, soon a new suite of black, white, gold, and anthracite grey suited hardware will be debuted, and a new seal system that improves smoothness and operation.
Firstly, the business will be debuting its glass solution
. This is described as‘ the absolute cutting-edge,’ and includes switchable glass, as demonstrated on a number of products at May’ s upcoming FIT Show. With the switchable glass, opacity can be adjusted by a switch, remote, or even by smartphone app. Every interaction with the glass creates a personal history, which can be used via the app to personalise your setup to suit you – whether you want to adjust the amount of light that gets in, or add an extra sense of privacy during the evening. This glass is the perfect companion to our range of bi-fold doors, allowing a home to open up living space but without having to compromise privacy.
Innovative glass solutions will be available in the very near future, and 2017 will also see our 5-chamber profile become standard. In the coming months, UK Fabrication will also be releasing its new flush sash. The sash is suited within
the existing casement range, meaning there won’ t be any compatibility issues with current installations. With mechanically joined options, the flush sash will be previewed at the 2017 FIT Show – along with a new agate grey foil. In addition, UK Fabrication has everything in place to make sure the support doesn’ t stop at its product range. With ever increasing numbers of retail showrooms, it has the range of POS material, showroom material, and can even provide hands-on demonstration and training.
To display these products and speak about the service in person, MASCO UK Fabrication will have a
stand at the 2017 FIT Show, held at NEC Birmingham from 23rd to 25th May.“ This stand is set to be our most impressive yet,” says Nick Kightley, sales director.“ The combination of our product line-up, revamped material, and support portal mean we can deliver the ultimate suite for growing an installer’ s business.”
Nick Kightley adds:“ That’ s not all. We’ ll be debuting a series of exclusive previews of new products at the FIT show, which haven’ t been revealed yet. There’ s plenty of excitement still to come.”
